PSALM 147:4
“He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.”
Have you ever thought about how much sand there is in the world? Seems like a silly question, but believe it or not, there are estimates of how many grains of sand there are in the world. Estimates claim that there are roughly 7.5 quintillion grains of sand in the world. That would be the number 7.5 with 17 zeros behind it... or 29 billion
Olympic-sized pool worth of sand! Want to hear something even more mind-blowing? It is estimated that for every grain of sand in the world, there are 10,000 stars in the universe. If the big, fancy numbers are more your style, 200 sextillion stars are estimated to exist. That's the number 2 with 23 zeros behind it. Wow! And probaly that number is low seeing that is only the stars that can be seen by the naked eye or telescope. But regardless of the actual number, it is way more than we can humanly grasp. But here is the amazing thing: God knows exactly how many stars there are, and He knows everyone by name.
That same God who knows all about the stars, wants, and can live inside you through the Holy Spirit via a personal relationship with Jesus Christ! If God knows that much about the stars, think of what He knows about you! Who was made in His own image! God is a very personal and loving God. Do you know Him today?
Luke 12:7
"But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows."
